Spiros J. Lafazanos, D.D.S.
Dr. Spiro is from Athens, Greece and spent his early adult life living in the Chicago area. He has traveled the United States in his career as a Major in the US Army. He brings this invaluable experience to the people of his town. Immediately after graduating from Loyola University Chicago in 1987, he attended Marquette Dental School and graduated in 1991. In the years following, he completed his residency in Prosthodontics at the Hines VA Hospital in 1996. He opened Lafazanos Dental with Dr. Chris in 1997. When not in a lab coat and keeping patients happy and healthy, he enjoys spending time with his family and summers on Cape Cod.
Chris J. Lafazanos, D.D.S.
In 1991, Dr. Chris graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 1995, he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Northwestern University. In his spare time, Dr. Chris likes to travel with his wife and relax on the Greek Islands.
Effie Lafazanos, A.S, R.D.H, P.H.D.H.
Effie, moving from Katerini, Greece, grew up on the east coast and moved to Chicago from Massachusetts in 1994. She is a published author of editorials in local newspapers in suburban Boston. In 2005, Effie earned her dental hygiene degree at William Rainey Harper College. She is passionate about bringing considerate, quality care to all her patients. She loves spending time with her family, including her dog, Macy, cooking, reading, and strolling on the beach.
Marcela Reyes , Office Manager
Marcy joined our practice in 2007. Her welcoming and caring personality creates an inviting atmosphere for our office. Her dedication to quality patient care and satisfaction has allowed her to support Lafazanos Dental and patients as office manager. In her free time, she enjoys movies, spending time with family, and gardening. Stop in to see her vibrant smile and admire her incorporation of flowing orchids, and bright greenery to our Crystal Lake office!
